Similar with their senior Group 'Shinhwa', SS501 even in different management company will continue to have activities using the group name to release album together, considered as complying to the precedent.

On the 15th, according to ratings research center TNms, SBS Wed-Thurs drama 'President' that was broadcasted on 14th recorded 23.4% as it reigned king amidst the Wed-Thurs dramas.

On the other hand during the same time slot also came Rain's 'Fugitive Plan B' with 12.0% and Kim Hyun Joong's 'Playful Kiss' with 6.4% (14th episode).

In particular, despite 'Fugitive Plan B' having a continuous airing of its episodes, it has decreased to fall into the 10% plus of ratings category. Kim Hyun Joong will be the overall commander of his finale event to watch MBC 'Playful Kiss' together on 21st at Seoul, Children's Park, Dome Art Hall.

On this day, he will be watching the final episode with 2000 fans, though the drama ratings are low, in order to repay the support from his fans who never gave up supporting him, he has thus personally suggested for this time's event. When the music starts, the little girl passed the bouquet to Hyun Joong. But from there onwards, it was stuck.

While waiting, he did not returned to the waiting room but stayed on to have a close contact with the fans by holding onto the mike and had a friendly talk with them.

Hyun Joong purposely asked jokingly, “Feeling cold?” and all the fans answered, “Hot!”.
“Where did you come from? Tokyo?”
There were various replies, “From a lot of different places? Even from Seoul!” said Hyun Joong feeling surprised.
The lighthearted conversation went on for a while.

Finally the shooting of the last scene was where he reached out his hands towards the camera (imaginary fiancé).

[14/10] Kim Hyun Joong’s kiss scene can’t help Playful Kiss in the ratings battle

Two days ago we reported that Kim Hyun Joong and Jung So Min would share a romantic moment for MBC’s drama, “Playful Kiss” with a much anticipated kiss scene. Unfortunately, this didn’t help in the drama ratings battle for October 13th as Playful Kiss achieved a ratings of 6.0%. SBS’s Daemul starring Kwon Sang Woo, Lee Soo Kyung, Go Hyun Jung, and Lee Soo Kyung was the victor with ratings of 26.4%. KBS2’s Fugitive: Plan B starring Rain came in at second place with a rating of 15.1%.

Playful Kiss was a bit unlucky, going against the mega popular drama Kim Tak Gu / Baker King and then going against both Fugitive: Plan B and Daemul. Hopefully things will pick up next week as the final episode of Playful Kiss is scheduled to air on October 21st. Kim Hyun Joong is scheduled to hold a special event with fans, where he will watch the final episode of the drama along with his fans. The price to attend the event is 10,000 won (around $9) and all of the proceeds will be donated to a charitable organization.
