TV Drama [Playful Kiss] Taiwan version and Korean version male lead actor Joseph Cheng and Kim Hyun Joong will be standing on the same stage.

The stage that both will be setting foot on, is the 1st round of activity 'Message to Asia' concert that will be held on 14 December at Tokyo Dome [Smiles Project] by Japan's DATV. [Smiles Project] is a charity act in hope to bring smiles and hope for young children in Asia who will be the future leaders, this will help poor children who are staying in Cambodia, Philippines etc.

Kim Hyun Joong and Joseph Cheng has been casted as male lead separately in [Playful Kiss], both have shaped their own unique main character which has received lots of love from fans in Asia. The stage battle that both of them will bring about this time has also received lots of attention and anticipation by fans in Asia. Besides Kim Hyun Joong and Joseph Cheng, Bae Yong Jun, Fany, Vaness Wu, Japanese singer GACKT and other Asian singers will light up the stage of Message to Asia Concert together.

Korean singer and actor Kim Hyun-joong will take part in a Japanese project with Hallyu star Bae Yong-joon, according to their agency KEYEAST on Monday.

KEYEAST announced in a press release that Kim will be joining Bae for the “Miso Project,” aimed at helping the future of children in Asia, which was set up by Japan’s Digital Adventure TV (DATV). This will be the first official event that Kim and Bae will be attending together.

The first series of the "Miso Project" titled "Message! to Asia" will be held at the Tokyo Dome on December 14 with other stars in participation including Japanese singer GACKT and Vanness Wu.

The "Miso Project" is a contribution-based philanthropy project which with the help of non-profit organization KnK (Kokkyo naki Kodomotachi), they will donate the money to underprivileged children in Cambodia and the Philippines.

"The two stars have willingly agreed to take part in this long-term project to put smiles back on the faces of the children in Asia," an official from KEYEAST explained, adding that they are hoping more children find hope and happiness through this event.

Bae, 34, has made numerous donations to various organizations in Asia including 300 million won to the tsunami victims in 2005 as well as handing funds raised from an environment-themed photo spread to a UNEP committee.

Recently, the actor began delivering medical treatments for premature babies and newborns in various cities in Japan as well as making donations to other Asian countries.

Kim, 23, the leader of boy band SS501, signed an exclusive contract with KEYEAST in late June. He has done charity work with SS501 in the past where the group gave the proceeds from their concert to single mothers and families in the Philippines.

He has also participated in several campaigns and benefit concerts while members of his fan clubs have also made donations to different charities under the K-pop idol's name.

Kim is currently shooting the Korean adaptation of TV series "Itazura na Kiss," originally based on a popular Japanese comic, opposite Korean actress Jung So-min. The show will premiere on MBC on September 1.

After Bae Yongjun who will be participating in DATV's charity programme 'Smile project', Kim HyunJoong has been decided to join in as well. This 'Smile project' is a project that aims to fill the daily lives of children with any beautiful smile. These children are those who are responsible for the tomorrow of Asia. This project will aim to lend helping hand and present a gift of smile to the disadvantaged children regardless of country in various asia regions such as Cambodia and Philipines, etc.

Since Bae YongJoon was decided to participate, Kim HyunJoong who recently signed on to Keyeast will also be joining in on December 14 at Japan Tokyo Dome for this 1st series of 'Smile project' - 'Message! to Asia'. This will be both of their first time standing on stage together ever since HyunJoong's official recruitment into company.

Throughout this time, Bae YongJoon has been consistently carrying out donation activities in Korea and of course Asia too. He has been doing various donations such as debris for Tsunami, as well as for the oil spill incident in Taean etc, and also participated in donation campaigns. -some other information about donation activities ommitted-

Also, we have come to know about various methods through which Kim HyunJoong took part in charity. Beginning since early June, he had participated in a Philipines charity concert, after which the funds raised from this concert would be donated to single mothers and for building of homes, not only that but since their SS501 days, they have already been active in several donation activities and campaigns like pictorial shooting and charity concerts etc. In addition, HyunJoong's fanclub members have also been adventing new donation culture positively by donating to the needys under HyunJoong's name.

A related personnel has said, "Both of them (Hyunjoong,BYJ) who generally has great interest over love sharing have come together this time for this event. Both of them agreed at once without hesitations to join in this meaningful long-term project which would bring about smiles once more to children faced with tough situations/in adversity. Also through this time's event, they aim to see more smiles spread across the faces of more children".

This event "Smile project S.1 -- Message! to Asia" will be held on December 14 at Tokyo Dome, and it not just includes Bae YongJun and Kim HyunJoong but also Japanese popular singer GACKT and Taiwan actor Vanness Wu, etc such asia stars.
