[15/11] SS501 Park Jung-min reveals concept of upcoming album

SS501 member Park Jung-min revealed his concept for his upcoming solo album today.

Recent photographs of the 23-year-old singer were unveiled on his official website, showing Park dressed in black from head to toe and styling short hair in accordance to the theme of his single album which will be released on November 25.

"The concept for his new album is sleek, manly and chic. In the past he fit the idol image but will now portray a more mature idol look," an official from his agency CNR Media was quoted as saying, adding that Park lost 12 kilograms to take on the new look.

His agency also added that tickets for his upcoming fan meeting and showcase, to be held next Saturday, have sold out.

Making his debut as part of the popular boy band SS501 in 2005, Park has also appeared in various television shows as well as starring in the musical "Grease."

Group SS501 Park JungMin showed a sleek image losing 12kg prior to his comeback.

On 25-Nov, Park JungMin, who will be the first of SS501 members to release a solo album, has released his first single album concept recently, attracting attention with his changed image.
In the photos, Park JungMin has a black-dyed short hairstyle, which goes in line with his black clothes, he has an even more chic attractiveness with a much lighter body as compared to before.

Park JungMin’s agency CNR Media said “The concept for this is chic image of sleek and manly. Embossing on the idol image before, now he is a little more manlier matured idol. In order to fit with this concept, he lost 12kg and works very hard to show a definite changed image.

Park JungMin will hold a fan meeting on 27-Nov and starts his solo activities. This mini album is currently still in discussions with composer Shinsadong Tiger and in midst of recording.

Producer Shinsadong Tiger recently left a message through his own twitter together with 3 photos, 'SS501 Park JungMin (album) jacket filming scene. Refreshingly changed Park JungMin'. In the photos, Park JungMin was seen among the staffs.

Agency CNR Media representative expressed his own thoughts, 'We had the (album) jacket filming on 7-Nov. This is still not the time to release the photos at the filming scene yet. Though a lot of you are curious about it, please wait for it. He will be able to meet with you again with a great image.'

Concurrently finishing up the album production, Park JungMin is preparing for music video filming on 14, 15 Nov. Park JungMin will have a showcase-style mini concert & fan meeting on 27-Nov.

Kim Hyun Joong had shooted agressively at Karma resort, Pecatu Indah resort etc and several places for indoor and outdoor shooting.
