Micky Yoochun's 'Sung gyun kwan Scandal' is the Number 1 most anticipated latter-half-year drama.
In the survey that was conducted by Joynews24 beginning last July 30 onwards titled "Most anticipated drama in latter half year?", 'SGK Scandal' came in first with a total of 3,118 votes (41%) out of a total of 7,607 who participated in the voting, as of August 11 morning.
'SGK Scandal' is set in the Chosun time period days with Sung Gyun Kwan as the background setting, and talks about the love and friendship stories of the young, pure 4 buddies.This drama is the first korean drama of DBSG member Micky Yoochun, which he's been receiving attention about. Up next is MBC new Wed-Thurs drama 'Playful Kiss'. It's received a total of 2,787 votes (37%) and coming in 2nd position. 'Playful Kiss' is the first main lead drama of Kim HyunJoong who rose to stardom with 'Boys over Flowers' which brought about buzz, and also consists of 'Bad guy' newbie actress Jung Somin as his partner. This drama is a new work of 'Goong' and 'Boys over Flowers' production company Group Eight, and is receiving keen interest to whether or not it will be another hit.
Up behind is SBS Wed-Thurs drama 'My girlfriend is a Gumiho' which will begin its squarebox telecast on August 11 (today). It receives 920 votes (12%) and coming in 3rd. This drama talks about a man's story of how he incidentally chances upon a Gumiho and falls in love with her.
'Shining inheritance' Lee Seung-gi and CF queen Shin Min-ah, along with 'Fantasy couple', 'Minamshineyo' script writers -- Hong sisters, Hong Jung-eun and Hong Mi-ran, this drama has already been receiving much anticipation prior to its broadcast. Before this drama is to be aired, Lee Seung-gi and Shin Min-ah already released still cut of their 'Guseul Kiss' which created buzz and this was a preview to their invasion of Wed-Thurs squarebox (TV).
Behind them is Rain and Lee NaYoung, Lee JungJin' KBS 2TV drama 'Escaper', which collated 369 votes (5%), coming in 4th position. In 5th is Jang Hyuk, Ha JiWon and Yoon SangHyun's new SBS 'Secret Garden' drama. In 6th is Goo HyeSun and Daniel Choi's 'The Musical'.
