Another "thank you" photos for the sponsors...
With so many sponsorships photos floating about, I sometimes wonder whether all their clothes were for free. Do they even buy clothes on their own? kekeke I know that's one of the perks of celebrityhood, but since I'm not too well acquainted with Korean entertainment industry, I just want to post this question. If one celebrity was signed to be the image model of one clothing company, shouldn't most of this outfits be sponsored by that brand alone?
So if Hyun Joong has signed with Basic House to be their model for their cute t-shirts, shouldn't we be seeing Joongie wearing their t-shirts outside of the CF or photos spreads?

Just because of Kim Hyun Joong (24 yrs old) appearance, it has caused Japanese ladies that have gradually cool down from the hallyu wave to once again go into a frenzy.
On the 5 January, the Fuji TV ‘Gourmand table’ invited Kim Hyun Joong as a guest. His popularity exploded and the audience in the studio go into a frenzy. In the program, Hyun Joong prepared samgyetang (Ginseng Chicken Soup) and also tteokbokki (Fried Spicy Korean Rice Cake), these 2 types of korean food. After the program was aired, related news regarding the variety show all in a sudden rise up in major search engine’s ranking chart as No. 1 hot search term. From this you can see that Hyun Joong’s appearance has caused great attention.
Actually Hyun Joong has previously done his activity in Japan with his group SS501, he has gained high popularity. Last year, he acted in Korea popular drama ‘Boys over Flowers’, once again mesmerizing the Japanese ladies. This round he use the opportunity of his participation in the cooking program to meet with his Japanese fans. In the program message board, many left comments and support. ‘Being able to see Hyun Joong make my heart beat faster’ ‘So cute’ ‘Can’t imagine that other than dancing and singing, he can also cook something nice, he is really perfect!” “Excellent!” All these exclamation showed that Hyun Joong has started a brand new hallyu wave to disturb the Japanese’s heart.
Hyun Joong high popularity not only started in Japan but various other Asia countries has also start a hallyu wave. Last month, Hyun Joong just received the ‘2009 Yahoo Buzz Award – Most popular Male Artist’, in Taiwan and Korea also have high popularity and the netizen do not hesitate when voting. After the MC withdrawal of Yu Jae-seok and Lee Hyori from SBS' famous variety show “Family Outing", the present production unit prepared to change the concept and recreate a new program as “Family Outing 2″. Recently the industry is concerned about the candidates of the new hosts.
In order to compete with KBS 2TV “two days one night,” SBS Television is having an intensive
preparation for the program content and host selection of ”Family Outing 2″.
Now, the list of news host candidates has idol members such as SS501’s Kim Hyun-Joong, 2PM Junsu (준수), Girls’Generation YuRi（유리）, BIG BANG member Dacheng, in addition comic artist Shen Feng-shun is also on the list. The producers said that seven people on the current list of the seven are still in negotiation.
Actually, 2PM entertainment company JYP related person said: “The production unit do come to negotiate, but relevant details has not yet been discussed. Also, because of the changes of schedule, everything is not clear yet.”
SS501 entertainment company also said during a interview that they “Have already received the invitation from the other side, however, our schedule is very full so is unlikely to join.” Management company’s position is now negative.
BIG BANG’s Dacheng because of his performance in a drama which is expected to broadcast in 2010, should therefore be unable to take two days one-night to record the variety show. So, everything is still unknown.
