On December 30th, tvN ENEWS '블랙박스 / Blackbox' ranked the top 10 entertainers in terms of revenue earned and Kim Hyun Joong was listed as the fifth top earners for 2009. The top 10 ranked as the following:

3) Big Bang  
4) Super Junior
5) Kim Hyun Joong 
6) Ko Hyun Jung
7) SNSD / Girls' Generation
