Yesterday, Korean Idol band SS501's 5 members were lead by leader Kim Hyun Joong to Shanghai for their Shanghai concert on the 14th. This is also their 1st Asia Tours only stop in China. Having the term " Concert Rain God", they revealed their power yesterday. With low temperature and heavy rain, SS501 once again brought the hallyu wave to Shanghai.
In early 2008, SS501 had once came to Shanghai for a concert as trial to the China market but the results were not as satisfactory. At that time, having a not too hot neither too little popularity plus 2 big band DBSK and Shinhwa ahead of them, the concert did not turn out to be satisfactory. After a short 1 year later, the 5 members have much developments and advancements esp. for leader Kim Hyun Joong who acted in BOF as Yoon Ji Hoo who without a question became a top icon in the Korean entertainment industry. With this popularity, SS501 once again return to Shanghai with confidence and chose to return to the stadium for a second concert.
Also Leader Kim Hyun Joong earlier had contracted H1N1 and member Kim Kyu Jong also had some health problems. Shanghai's bad weather plus earlier conference made the few members seemed exhausted, which made many worry for thier health." I recovered well, everyone please do not worry, please trust us that we will bring a good performance and not let you all disappointed." Leader replied and everyone seemed to be relieved upon hearing. However Shanghai's bad weather may let the 5 members meet the " rain god" and this is also one worrying point . Leader replied: "Shanghai stop is the 1st outdoor performing area and in the past, our concerts always met with rainy situation. Hope that dear Lord will help us out and not rain."

We all know that they do have a history with rain showers. Since this is an open field, let's pray with Leader that they don't get wet even before the concert ends. Water spray at the end part of the concert is fine, just as what they have been doing for the past three Persona concerts. Everybody now, let's do the "rain dance"!
