The SS501 boys are back! From Hyun Joong's Boys Over Flowers glory, to Triple-S (three members of SS501), to the other members pursuing other projects like acting, the boys have finally returned, as a full group.
It didn't take long for the album to be praised and loved, as soon as the album was released, fans and listeners quickly picked it up. The response has been explosive, fans and critics alike were surprised by the artistic quality of the album, re-establishing SS501's image as serious musicians as they come together for their comeback. Already, Netizens have praised the album by saying "The wait was worth every single moment" and that "There isn't a single song on the album that's bad." Currently, the album is on the list for most searched term on portal sites such as Naver and Daum.
According to a representative of DSP Entertainment, the reason why the album is having much initial success is that they have hired various famous song writers as well as highly regarded Korean American producer Steven Lee from Hollywood, California to produce the album. Steven Lee is renowned for winning 15 Japan Golden Disc Awards as well as producing many number one artists in Korea (TVXQ, Rain, and Super Junior) and Japan (KAT-KUN, V6, and Do As Infinity). SS501's lead single, Love Like This, was requested by many other recording artists to use as a track for their own use. However, SS501 was lucky enough to get the track. Ken Lewis, who is famous for working with artists such as Usher, Kanye West, and John Legend, was in charge of mixing the songs.
